Growing up in the small town of Beaver Falls, PA, northwest of Pittsburgh, Carol Allen Gipson developed a strong foundation of resilience and hard work. Her childhood included studying piano and organ, learning accounting from her father, and an early exposure to gardening which would become a lifelong passion. Through life’s varied seasons, Carol channeled her energy into a successful professional career spanning over four decades. She excelled in demanding roles across management, sales, marketing, and community engagement, proving her worth through dedication and determination. This impressive career culminated in her retirement in 2016 from a managed care organization, where she served as the Director of Community Relations and Program Development.

Retirement marked a joyful new chapter for Carol, immediately focusing on personal growth and fulfillment. She soon achieved her designation as a Certified Gardener, pursuing her deep interest in nature. This pursuit led to an inspiring research project focused on 66 biblical plants, which, strengthened by the love and support of her husband, Ricky, provided the direct inspiration for her children’s book, GOD’s Plants. Today, Carol writes with a deep sense of purpose and faith. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and proud great-grandmother to seven beautiful children, her mission is to pass on essential life lessons and the beauty of God’s grace to the next generation through gentle storytelling.
